Effect of a multi-micro nutrients and some pre-harvest sprays to weight and quality red tangerines (Citrus reticulate Blanco)
Research by the authors Pham Thi Phuong Thao and Le Van Hoa (College of Agriculture and Applied Biology CTU) aim to find corrective pre-harvest measures, which is effective on improving the color, weight and quality of red tangerines, supports to transport distance and shortens the holding time left on the tree.


The experiment was executed on 3 years old in red tangerine Lai Vung district (Dong Thap) by CRD forms, including two types of nutritional factors are: seven solutions and the number of spray treatments (3), experiments with 3 replicates, each repetition is a tree. Harvested tangerines were stored at room temperature; the norms were analyzed at the Department of Physiology - Biochemistry, University of Can Tho in 2008.

The output showed that the experimental results did not affect on improving the color of red tangerine. Most treatments used fertilizers and minutes 3 ​​times, increased the fruit weight, decreased the percentage of fruit weight loss over time, Brix percent was higher than controls. The quality criteria always were stable; especially the treatments norm using CaCl2 had better weight and maintaining quality as compared to controls.
