Breeding cow for milk benefits users’ health
By transgenic methods, Chinese scientists have successfully developed two new dairy cows, a type of cow can contain less lactose and dairy one contains a lot of Omega-3 fatty acids.

The geneticists at the University of Inner Mongolia have added a gene from archaea (scientific name Archaea) in embryos of cows. This gene is biodegradable from lactose (the sugar found in dairy products) into more easily digestible sugars that can be used for people with lactose intolerance – results in diarrhea, pain abdominal bloating after consuming dairy products containing milk.

There were a total of 14 embryos are formed and implanted back into the womb of a cow. In five calves born in April, has 3 children with the gene needed to produce milk contains less lactose. When they mature and lactation, the experts will conduct tests to accurately assess the concentration of lactose in their milk. If convenient, low lactose milk will be available on the market for at least 5 years.
Meanwhile, a group of other studies at the University of Inner Mongolia said they also have created a genetically modified cow milk contains high levels of Omega-3 fatty acids. This acid is a good nutrient for the cardiovascular system and brain, which is only rich in fish oils such as mackerel, tuna, salmon, smelt ...
