The first electronic hand knows how to feel
Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL) has successfully invented the first electronic hand capable of giving the patient the feeling lifelike.

Electronic hand allows the patient to% 3bn objects located on hand. The scientists added that until now, the artificial parts only able to transmit signals from the brain to body defective parts and turn them into the movement, but the patient no sense.

With this new invention, electronic hand will connect directly to the nervous system through electrodes clipped on two main nerves of the arm, with the aim to restore the sense of touch objects in the disabled .
The electrodes will help patients control arm by thought, and sends signals back to the brain.
The scientists hope that this breakthrough will pave the way for a new generation of artificial parts of the body, improve dexterity, and provides a sense for the disabled.
