Made of carbon fiber and weighing in at just 2.2 pounds, the helmet can be controlled by voice commands. The full-color, translucent image containing the desired information is projected directly onto the visor, and a light sensor adjusts the image brightness to meet different lighting conditions. The helmet’s maps will be powered by Navteq, and the included G-sensor, gyroscope and digital compass track head movement and change the image view direction as required.
