This is one of the important activities in order to gradually bring Robotics development activities in schools in Vietnam. Besides, the competition is to select outstanding teams to attend the International Robotics Competition that will take place last month November 2013 in Manila, Philippines.
The national competition will have the participation of 48 teams with 144 students, from many Robotics clubs of schools in the whole country by DTT-Eduspec joint-venture holds to teach.
Speaking on the topic of the contest, the organization board representatives said that this is a key issue in the coming few decades, urban areas will develop very quickly in size and speed that lead to a range of issues such as treatment of huge data flows from the sources to the city and residents.
DTT-Eduspec joint-venture in Vietnam was formed in 2011. It provides solutions and services of close information technology-telecommunications and Eduspec Malaysia provides training and education services on platform of information technology.
In 2012, International Robotics competition for kids - digital youth awards (DYA) hold the first time by joint venture in Vietnam. And, two teams from Malaysia won the first prize of the contest.
Robotics is understood as a technological process of design, construction and operation of the robot. This is a synthetic subject of science, technology, engineering, mathematics that helps students learn, cultivate strategic thinking methods, how to solve problems and work skills from primary school level to university. |
