Using human hair to evaluate environmental toxicity
Dr. Le Phuoc Cuong, a researcher of Da Nang Polytechnic University, has found a way to put Statistica 7.0 into estimating toxic accumulations that present in human hairs.

Human hair is known as a body part that accumulates and stores toxins from surrounding environment for a long time. Therefore, it is used as a tool that helps researchers analyze ecological environment and sanitation.

In addition, hair samples also help researchers to analyze the level of pollution with a group of people who live in the same area.

Researchers have analyzed chemical toxicity data (metals, chemical plant protection) with hair samples of people who lived in Hoa Vang district, Da Nang City. Thank to Statistica 7.0, researchers were able to examine environment and health situations for local people by age.
