The project aims to support development of wind power technology and exploit of potential wind energy; building database, planning wind power source in the local and national scale; improving expertise for all levels, branches in building, management of planning, investment and development of wind power.

The project will be carried out within 4 years (2014-2018) with total investment of 3.7 million Euros, which 3.6 million is non-refundable aid from Germany (German Bank of reconstruction – KfW), and 100.000 Euros from Vietnam counterpart fund (Ministry of Industry and Commerce prepared in the annual budget).
