Vietnam Information Safety Day 2014: Focusing on safety, information security and national sovereignty
7th Information Safety Day 2014 officially took place on November 19, 2014 with the topic was safety, information security and national sovereignty.


Mr. Ngo Vi Dong - chairman of VNISA 's Southern  Branch introduced the Information Security Day 2014.

In the morning of November 5, Ho Chi Minh Department of Information and Communication and Information Security Association Branch (information security) south - VNISA organized press conference to announce 7th Vietnam Information Safety Day 2014 with the topic "Safety, information Security and national Sovereignty."

According to representatives of Board of organization, Information Security Day this year took place in the context of safety, domestic and international information security took place very complex, directly threatened not only to operation and businesses’ assets but also to security and national sovereignty.

Chain activities in response to Information Security Day 2014 will begin with 7th contest "Students with Information Security" for student from academies, universities and colleges in the whole country due to VNISA combined Ministry of Education - Training to organize.

The contest attracted the participation of 15 schools and academies, held on November 08, 2014 at the IT University - Ho Chi Minh National University.

Main workshop of Vietnam Information Security Day was held on November 19, 2014 with 2 major contents are regional information security status report by VNISA's southern Branch and information security solution report of the provider of solutions and services for the world's leading information security.
