Institute of Applied Technology organized  technology solution workshop to increase operation capacity of transportation systems in Vietnam on June 26 in order to introduce some information about technology development trends, Japan related technology policies; technology applications in the development of the transportation network in Vietnam.

JICA supported Ministry of Transport in the development of technology research. Technology building standards since 2013. The main issue of standardization is standard functionality of the system. It is expected to be issued 4 standards on July, 2015. Currently, intelligent technology trends have been deployed in several routes, such as Phap Van - Cau Gie and Cau Gie - Ninh Binh. Vehicle weigh control system deployed in more than 63 provinces, cities. Vietnam applied some technologies, such as DSRC, RFID, vehicle journey monitoring technology and etc.

Mr. Hideyuki Kanoshima, Ministry of Transportation and Land Infrastructure said that it is necessary to make how people, businesses really understand effective technologies for life. In fact, many projects implemented, experiences showed that three transport systems are effective, as follows navigation system, automatic information transmit system on highways and automated toll system.
