Developing materials for thermoelectric applications
When the photovoltaic materials are integrated with thermoelectric materials, the photovoltaic materials will directly transform the sun's rays into electricity and thermal material absorbs the heat of solar radiation, thereby raising high power generation efficiency of solar panels.


The solar panels are highly effective.

The new thermoelectric material is a science result of the 7th Framework Programme of the European Union (EU) (FP7), using modern technologies to synthesize nanostructures, mainly combine 3 large materials: synthetic silica-based materials, metal sulfide materials and telluro materials.

This thermoelectric materials through the gap between the hot and cold to produce electricity flow, thence thermal insulation is more efficient

The research project was supported budget by FP7  to focus on applications of thermoelectric materials in the photovoltaic sector, mainly research and manufacture the solar panels with high efficiency.

When conducting comparative studies with the new invented generator in the heat collection of more than 10 kinds of thermoelectric materials, the fuel transformation incidence of combustion has increased by 5%.

Currently, the technology use thermoelectric materials to keep the stable temperature in order to manufacture  the automotive seats,  widely apply in automobile manufacturing industry.
