Under the agreement, the two parties exchanged students, each can exchange no more than 10 students / year. Vietnamese students study at UTS will be supported full tuition, facilitated in advanced research environment of UTS in the research process, although they still registered as a post-graduation of Academy of Science and Technology under VAST.

However, UTS students research or work at Vietnam Institute of Science and Technology are exempt from tuition, facilitated research in the laboratories of research institutes that are integrated into the Faculty of Institute of Science and Technology.

UTS is a modern university, with the diverse research programs, primarily in the fields of business administration, science and technology management and technology transfer, health, pharmacy, international research.
