The disaster from the perspective of women

The exhibition "Living with Disaster - The story of the woman" has been extending from March 7 - 31, 2016 at the Vietnam Women's Museum, No 36 Ly Thuong Kiet Street, Hanoi. The message of the exhibition is "change awareness and action to enhance women's participation in disaster risk reduction and adaptation to climate change."

The central women told the story of disaster response.
With near 300 displayed images, exhibit to the public realistic view from the story of the women who have lost their homes, possessions and livelihoods because of floods in Quang Binh and Thua Thien - Hue, where is considered "storm bags" of the Central.
The exhibition is one of the activities of the project "Capacity improvement for women in disaster risk reduction, adaption to climate change" in Quang Binh and Thua Thien - Hue, co-organized by Vietnam Women's Union and UN Women. |
