Continue to promote the development of biotechnology applications
The Government Office has directed the guidance of the Prime Minister on promoting development and application of biotechnology to serve industrialization and modernization of the country.

Previously, on September 01, 2016, the Secretariat has Conclusion No. 06-KL / TW on the continued implementation of the Directive No. 50-CT / TW dated March 04, 2005 of the IX th Secretariat on speeding the development and application of biotechnology to serve industrialization and modernization of the country.

Prime Minister, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Government requested the concerned ministries and agencies on their functions and tasks have been assigned. Review, evaluate, implement effective action Programs of the Government to implement Directive No 50-CT / TW, biotechnology development and application master plan in Vietnam to 2020 and the relevant projects, tasks have been approved by Prime Minister.

Prime Minister assigned Ministry of Science and Technology collaborated with ministries and relevant agencies to build the Master Plan for biotechnology development by 2030, including the planning and construction tasks of the biosafety test centers in the regions; focus on innovation of management mechanisms, motivational breakthrough of mobilizing resources and applications, transferring biotechnology to serve the goal of economic restructuring, growth model innovation, improve productivity, quality, efficiency. Build multi-function industrialization to adapt to climate change. Submit to the Prime Minister in the first quarter of 2017 for consideration and decision.
