Application of the Vietnamese version of Ni-xo goods/services classification table No 11-201 starts 01/10/2017

The National Office of Intellectual Property of Vietnam would like to inform,starting October 1, 2017, the classification of goods and services when applying for trademark registration will be applied in accordance with the Vietnamese version of the Ni-Xơ goods / services classification No 11-2017 is translated by the National Office of Intellectual Property of Vietnam from the English version published by WIPO.

If the applicant does not categorize accurately in the Vietnamese version of Nos. 11-2017, the National Office of Industrial Property of Vietnam will reclassify the application process and applicants must pay additional classification fees as prescribed.
The Vietnamese version of Classification of Ni-xo Goods / Services No 11-2017 is published in the Industrial Property Gazette No. 353B by the National Office of Industrial Property of Vietnam on August 25, 2017 on electronic information site of the National Office of Intellectual Property of Vietnam (www.noip.gov.vn) and the electric information portal of the Ministry of Science and Technology (www.most.gov.vn).

Any problems arise in the course of application should be promptly reported to the National Office of Intellectual Property of Vietnam for consideration and settlement.
