Introduction of climate change adaptation models in Vietnam
Initiations, products, as well as projects on climate change adaptation of Vietnam under the support of the European Union (EU) were introduced at the EU climate diplomacy exhibition 2017, opened in the afternoon of October 14, at Ly Thai To Flower Garden, Hanoi.


Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Nguyen Duc Chung and Ambassador Bruno Angelet visited the mini solar energy model at the exhibition.

It was organized by Hanoi People's Committee, the EU Delegation and the German Embassy in Vietnam, the exhibition aims to raise awareness among urban people about the need for emergency response to climate change is happening increasingly serious.

More than 20 stores at the exhibition introduced to the people of Hanoi capital and visitors visiting the program to fight and adapt to climate change, the support of EU countries have experiences with anti-gas climate change, it is designed for Vietnam in the effort to mitigate the impacts of climate change, as well as initiatives from local organizations, businesses, research institutes and development teams to promote sustainable energy.

The issue of responding to climate change, raising awareness of people is extremely important, Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee stressed, and also said that the opening of climate exhibition today not only helps raise awareness of the people in Hanoi on climate change, but also has a good opportunity for the government, scientists, businesses and people to discuss climate and environmental issues, thereby proposing sustainable environmental solutions, contributing to the process of building green, clean, civilized and modern capital.
