The information was provided at the working session between Mr. Chu Ngoc Anh, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Minister of Science and Technology (S & T) with the Singapore Science, Technology and Research Agency on November 27. (A * STAR), took place on the sidelines of National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan's official visit to Singapore and Australia from November 26 to December 2.

Vietnam-Singapore S & T cooperation has been built on the basis of cooperation for many years and has made progress in both multilateral and bilateral terms, according to Minister of Science and Technology Chu Ngoc Anh. In the framework of multilateral cooperation, cooperation between Vietnam and Singapore in science and technology has been carried out through the cooperation mechanism within the framework of regional organizations and forums, such as ASEAN, APEC, ASEM and etc.

Singapore has been involved in the development and finalization of the 2016-2025 ASEAN Science and Technology Action Program, which aims to further promote COST's performance; building the ASEAN Economic Community after 2015 and the Krabin Initiative, Singapore presided a number of related meetings, actively launched a number of initiatives to promote S & T and ASEAN Innovation and ASEAN member countries, such as ASEAN Innovation for Global Market; Digital Media, New Media and Social Networking and etc.
