Inauguration of Vietnam-Germany Medical Research Center
In the afternoon of January 16, 108 Central Military Hospital opened the Vietnam-Germany Center for Medical Research (VG Care).

Attending the ceremony, there were Lieutenant General Pro., Dr. Nguyen Chi Vinh- Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the Central Military Commission, Vice Minister of Defense, Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Pham Cong Tac, Pro., Dr. Mai Hong Bang - Director of 108 Central Military Hospital and representatives from ministries and central agencies.

In the past years, 108 Central Military Hospital and 108 Institute of Clinical Medicine have always been active in integrating and enhancing international cooperation. So far, the hospital has had relationships with more than 40 countries and territories around the world.

Speaking at the ceremony, Prof., Dr. Mai Hong Bang said that through training cooperation and scientific research among the General Hospital 108 and the Institute of Tropical Medicine - University of Tubingen have trained many scientists, many scientific works have been published, especially three exclusive patents on science and technology etc contributing actively to improve the quality of research and application of science and technology in caring for and treating patients.
