According to a report from the Directorate for Standards, Metrology and Quality (STAMEQ), at its second meeting, the Council approved the list of 79 enterprises in 37 provinces, the city was eligible to consider awarding the National Quality Award 2017, which proposed the National Quality Gold Award to 20 enterprises and the National Quality Award for 59 enterprises.

The Directorate deployed to gather comments from 37 provinces and cities having enterprises to attend the national quality award in 2017. All 79 enterprises were proposed to be awarded the National Quality Award by the People's Committee of the province or city where the enterprise was registered its operation agreed to award National Quality Award in 2017.

The 3rd meeting of the National Quality Award Council in 2017 agreed to nominate 15 enterprises to win national gold quality Prize and 58 enterprises won the National Gold Quality Award in 2017.
