That has made a significant contribution to the success of Nafosted. That is the opinion of Mr. Phan Hong Son - Vice Chairman of the Natif Fund Management Board (former Managing Director of National Science and Technology Development Fund - Nafosted) in an interview with Science and Development Newspaper.

At the beginning of the implementation of Nafosted, we are quite confused because in our country there is no fund for scientific research. There are two ways, firstly, to deploy the Fund's operations in a manner consistent with what the Vietnamese scientific authorities have done so far. The second is to learn about the science fund management experiences of advanced countries, see what kind of management and try to apply management procedures in accordance with international standards.
