According to the General Department of Customs, simultaneously with the implementation of the national one-door mechanism, Vietnam is an active member in the ASEAN one-door mechanism (ASW). Specifically, since January 1, 2018, Vietnam was one of the first five countries in the region to officially implement the ASW along with Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand.

Implementing the Government's guidelines on strengthening the linkages to the national one-door mechanism, a number of ministries and sectors have actively participated, such as the Ministry of Science and Technology.

According to the Directorate for Standards and Quality (STAMEQ), from June 22, 2018, this unit implemented three administrative procedures through the national one-door mechanism, including : procedures for measuring inspection of means of measurement and quantities of pre-packed goods upon import; Procedures for approval of imported measuring devices; The procedure for issuing certificates of free circulation.

Previously, the Ministry of Science and Technology recently had a procedure to perform on NSW is to check the quality of imports under the management of the ministry. So far, the Ministry of Science and Technology has implemented four procedures to participate in NSW, thereby contributing to facilitate businesses, according to the government's reform objectives.
