According to Mrs. Bui Ngoc Duong, PetroVietnam's Board of Management, shareholders of Toyo Thai New Energy, PVOIL and Licogi 16 have contributed more capital to prepare for reoperation of the factory.
Besides, VSP-Licogi 16 Joint Venture has completed the maintenance and repair of the first phase plant to be ready for reoperation.
Binh Phuoc bio-fuel plant had been operating since April 2012 and produced more than 16,000 m3 of ethanol supplied to the market. However, in April 2013, the factory had to stop production due to difficulties in production resulting in loss of production and business.
This project is funded by a number of shareholders, such as PVOIL (a member of PVN contributing 29%, the rest is owned by other shareholders, in which foreign shareholder is Toyo Thai New Energy Limited Company contributes 49% of capital). |
