Attending the conference, there were Mr. Le Van Tam - Vice Chairman of Can Tho People's Committee; Director of Department of Information and Communication of Can Tho City, leaders of departments, units, representatives of People's Committees of districts, communes, wards and towns, Propaganda Committee, Division of Culture and Information, district radio station, telecommunication enterprises, newspaper emulation clusters and etc.

The conference focused on information and communication in the first six months of the year and the direction of tasks in the last 6 months of 2018; Discussing and answering questions and announcing the commendation decisions of units that have achieved achievements in communication work.

At this conference, the Department of Information and Communication of Can Tho city asked the units interested to use inter-text documents through the software system using executive management text, enhance the use of online software transmission system from district to commune.

Stating at the conference, Mr. Le Van Tam asked the Department of Information and Communications as well as units in the information and communication systems sector to pay attention to the proposed policies to promote the construction of public centers for Information technology meeting the requirements of central cities; continue to advise the city in building electronic city, smart city to implement the guidelines of the city, and etc.
