Mr. Nguyen Van Ly - Deputy General Director of Southern Power Corporation (EVNSPC) - said, solutions to save electricity of people and businesses in the Southern region have been implemented effectively including models, such as family saves electricity, saving electricity in schools, supporting electricity conservation for farmers growing of chrysanthemum, dragon fruit, shrimp farming, energy conservation and efficient projects under ESCO model and etc.

In the electricity-saving family program, the South now has 1,244 participating villages / neighborhoods with 1,356,242 registered households, of which 4,037 households have achieved savings of more than 10% compared to the used before. Currently, "The electricity-saving family program has been deployed to most hamlets / towns in the South and has a strong pervasiveness thanks to its benefits to power users" - Mr. Ly shared.
