Attending the meeting, there were representatives of Department of Science and Technology leaders, People's Committee of Phong Dien District, Economic and Infrastructure Department of Phong Dien District, Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, enterprises and cooperatives in the district.
At the meeting, representatives of Phong Dien Economic and Infrastructure Department reported the results of S&T activities in 2018 on Standard - Measurement - Quality and implementation of scientific and technological projects.

In 2018, Phong Dien District's Economic and Infrastructure Department cooperated with the Technical Standard - Measurement and Quality Center to audit the weight at 02 markets of Dien Dien and My Khanh. The inspection results were 122 scales, 04 tests of fuel measurement in the district at 04 enterprises.

The District Science and Technology Council has approved the implementation of two specific projects, including the project "Building trademark of Phong Dien district’s typical products" and the project "Building models to support automatic irrigation equipment; Collaborate with related branches to support Tan Thoi Cooperative to register Tan Thoi  Duran brand.

At the end of the meeting, the delegation of Can Tho City Department of Science and Technology and representatives of cooperatives and enterprises in the district exchanged and discussed difficulties and limitations that need to be solved; Phong Dien District People's Committee proposed to support to open training courses on knowledge of science and technology for departments and units in the district.
