In the framework of the visit of Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc to the Russian Federation, ROSATOM Group signed a memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of Science and Technology to promote the implementation of the construction project of the Nuclear Science and Technology Research Center in Vietnam.

Under the witness of the two Prime Ministers, Minister Chu Ngoc Anh and General Director of ROSATOM Group, Mr. Alexei Likhachev signed a memorandum of understanding. This is one of the cooperation projects that leaders of the two countries are very interested in exchanging and promoting at the talks and meetings.

Following the signing ceremony of the memorandum, Minister Chu Ngoc Anh had a working visit to the General Director of Rosatom Group at the head office in Moscow in the morning of May 23, 2019.

The two sides exchanged and agreed on many important contents to promote the implementation of the project. The two sides will also establish a communication channel to regularly exchange information with each other, as well as periodic reports to senior leaders of the two countries on the implementation of the Center Project.
