Attending the signing ceremony, on the French side, there were Associate professor Paul LIVOLSI - international cooperation expert, Professor Tran Quoc Tuan - INSTN specialist and coordinator of cooperation with Vietnam, Mr. Olivier Sigaud - France's Deputy Ambassador in Vietnam, PhD. Eric Molay - Scientific Associate and University Attache, French Embassy. On the Vietnamese side, there were Mr. Bui Dang Hanh - Deputy Head of Department, International Cooperation Department, PhD. Hoang Sy Than - Deputy Head of Planning and Scientific Management Department, PhD. Trinh Anh Duc - Director of the Center for Nuclear Training, PhD. Vo Van Thuan - an expert, and a number of leaders of units under the Vietnam Atomic Energy Institute.

According to this Agreement, the main contents agreed by the two sides in the coming time are: Strengthening exchanges between speakers, experts and researchers in the field of education and training, focusing into nuclear science and technology; Organizing workshops, lectures by experts and researchers from both sides on related fields; Exchange program for graduate students; Organize training courses on nuclear technology, nuclear science and technology and other related activities.

The signing of the Cooperation Agreement on Nuclear Energy Education and Training between the Vietnam Atomic Energy Institute and the French National Institute of Nuclear Science and Technology contributes to deepening the Vietnam - France strategic relationship in general, the relationship between Institute of Agriculture and Rural Development and INSTN Institute of France in particular, and at the same time promote the process of researching, developing and using nuclear energy for peaceful purposes of Vietnam.
