The opportunity for Vietnamese startups in Korea
Startups are supported with common work space, legal advice, brand protection ... when entering the Korean market.


These are the contents in the memorandum of strategic partnership to support startup community in Vietnam signed on May 23, between the Korean government's Start-up Support Organization (NIPA), Korea National Information Technology Industrial Promotion Agency (KICC) and the Young Start-up Support Center (BSSC).

These are the contents in the memorandum of strategic partnership to support startup community in Vietnam signed on May 23, between the Korean government's Start-up Support Organization (NIPA), Korea National Information Technology Industrial Promotion Agency (KICC) and the Young Start-up Support Center (BSSC).

Accordingly, Korean startups come to Vietnam, particularly Ho Chi Minh City, will be supported by co-working space, legal advice, brand protection and knowledge updates about the local market, expanding relationships in Vietnam's startup ecosystem.

Vietnamese startups join the Korean market are also supported by Korean organizations KICC and BSSC.

In recent years, Vietnam is considered an attractive market for foreign businesses, especially Korea. As of November 2018, Korea became the largest FDI investor in Vietnam.

According to economic experts, Korea has a strategy to boost investment in Vietnam in 2019. In addition to businesses, Korean startups also appreciate the investment prospects in Vietnam market.

At the end of last April, Vietnam Internet Association (VIA) and KICC launched the "K-Startup Grand Challenge" contest for Vietnamese startup community.
