Vietnam won four international biological Olympic medals

This result continues to extend Vietnam's achievement at international Olympic contests.

In the evening of July 21, the Quality Management Department (Ministry of Education and Training) informed that four Vietnamese students attending the 30th International Biological Olympiad in Hungary all won medals. Hoang Minh Trung (student of grade 12 of Lam Son High School, Thanh Hoa) has the best achievement with a silver medal.
The remaining three students won the Bronze Medal: Duong Tung Lam (grade 12 Phan Boi Chau High School, Nghe An), Ha Vu Huyen Linh (11th grade high school Specialize in Natural Science, University of Natural Sciences, Hanoi National University) and Hoang Thi Huyen Trang (12th grade of Specialized Hung Vuong High School, Phu Tho).
This result continues to extend Vietnam's achievement at international Olympic contests. Previously, six Vietnamese students attending the 60th International Math Olympiad (IMO) in the United Kingdom won prizes with two gold and four silver medals. Vietnamese students attending the International Physics Olympiad in Israel also won three gold and two silver medals.
The 2019 International Biological Olympics was held in Szeged, Hungary from July 14-21, with the participation of 74 countries and territories. With a Silver medal and 3 Bronze medals, the Vietnamese team continues to maintain high achievements in this tournament. |
