Minister of Science and Technology Chu Ngoc Anh and Hanoi People's Committee Chairman Nguyen Duc Chung awarded the National Quality Award to the winners of the 2018 prize.
The project is implemented in three years and coordinated by Aalto University (Finland); and partners are Eindhoven University of Technology (Netherlands), Ljubljana University (Slovenia), Yangon University of Technology (Myanmar), Mandalay University of Technology (Myanmar). Four participating Vietnamese universities include Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, Thu Dau Mot University, Eastern International University, and Vietnam-Germany University (Vietnam).
The deadline for receipt of applications for participation in the the National Quality Award 2020 is the deadline before June 1, 2020. The deadline for receiving applications for attending the National Quality Award in 2020 is late June 30, 2020.
The National Quality Award of Vietnam is part of the Asia-Pacific Ocean International Quality Excellence Award (GPEA) of the Asia-Pacific Ocean Quality Organization (Asia)- Pacific Quality Organization - APQO).
The National Quality Award is established and implemented on the basis of accepting the model and criteria of the Quality Award of advanced countries. The National Quality Award is awarded annually and is assigned to the Directorate for Standards, Metrology and Quality (Ministry of Science and Technology).
With the aim of improving productivity, quality, operational efficiency, contribution to the community, society and the sustainable development of enterprises; encourage businesses to continue participating in the National Quality Award in the coming time; improve the position and role of the National Quality Award on the business community and society.
Subjects participating in the National Quality Award must meet the following conditions: are organizations and enterprises having the legal person status and have been engaged in continuous production, business and service activities in Vietnam and do not violate the provisions of law in time is at least 36 months, until the time of registration. Organizations and businesses that have won the National Quality Gold Award will be allowed to participate in the National Quality Award after 3 years from the date of receiving the National Quality Gold Award.
The National Quality Award through the criteria helps organizations and businesses towards excellence in production, business and service by approaching the quality with a core value system: Vision of leadership; Customer-oriented; Improve knowledge of organizations and individuals; Improving the value of relevant stakeholders; Flexibility, acumen; Focusing on the future: Innovation management: Event-based management; Social responsibility: Focus on results that create value: Purpose of systematic management.
So far, nearly 2000 enterprises have been awarded with prizes, of which 240 organizations and businesses have won the Gold Prize. In particular, among Vietnamese enterprises that have won the National Quality Award, up to now, there are 50 typical enterprises awarded by the Asia-Pacific Quality Organization (APQO). |
