In the context of a pandemic, Vietnam is one of the few countries that can develop IT applications to prevent, and bring life to a new normal state. This is because Vietnamese businesses have mastered the technology.

According to Minister Nguyen Manh Hung, besides the challenges, the Covid-19 pandemic also brings opportunities for Vietnam. Covid-19 is a hundred-year opportunity for converting countries and also a "nudge" hundred years to convert numbers, so Vietnam has to master the conversion of numbers for each industry and each field.

The desire to rise through digital transformation is the emergence of distance learning platforms, distance medical examination and treatment, remote working, electronic newspaper platform, network security and safety platform, foundation of cloud computing, and etc.

Vietnam currently has 100 million people, ranking 12th in the world. The population is the market. The Covid-19 pandemic helped to see clearly the importance of the domestic market, when businesses faced many difficulties in exporting. Therefore, it is necessary to consider the population as Vietnam's largest resource in order to develop the domestic market.

Minister Nguyen Manh Hung said that after the Covid-19 pandemic, the global investment shift will occur. The global supply chain will be dispersed from China to other countries. Vietnam will welcome these shifting waves with priority given to large enterprises and enterprises investing in R&D.
