For the purpose of widely spreading information about the database system (database) to agencies, organizations, enterprises and associations, domestic and foreign industries, the Ministry of Industry and Trade cooperates with the International Finance Organization  (IFC) of the World Bank and the sponsorship of the Australian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), the Swiss Federal Economic Office (SECO) will organize the "Opening ceremony of the database system Vietnam's processing, manufacturing and supporting industries ”on June 19, 2020 at the Ministry of Industry and Trade Headquarters, No. 23 Ngo Quyen, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi.

The opening ceremony was chaired by Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Tuan Anh, with the participation of experts from the World Bank, representatives of industry associations and some large enterprises, such as Samsung Vietnam and Thaco Truong Hai, An Phat Group and with over 100 other participants. The event focused on introducing, promoting and sharing information and data to a large number of agencies, organizations, industry associations, businesses and etc about the Database system of industries and public support businesses in Vietnam.

In the past time, the development of processing, manufacturing and supporting industry industry has achieved some progresses in both quality and quantity, but the actual supply capacity still faces many shortcomings, trade deficit of components, Spare parts are also very large. One of the reasons leading to the above limitation is the weak link between supporting enterprises and supporting enterprises producing finished products, especially with FDI enterprises.
