Promoting the effectiveness of the incubation programs in 2017 with many positive results, SIHUB and Expara continue to launch the incubation program in season 2. The program focuses on promoting the development of entrepreneurs and startups who are planning to do business in Vietnam to commercialize and expand their solutions.
With the 14-week accelerator program, candidates are invited to participate in an online seminar in the presence of experienced industry veterans; supported by reputable advisors; to participate in the network of angel investors; funded up to 140,000 USD and have the opportunity to access other sources of capital.
The goal of the program is to incubate 20 innovation startups. Especially, following the general trend of the world, SIHUB and Expara's season 2 incubation programs are completely built and organized on online platforms.
In cooperation with JICA, SIHUB, together with two other partners, the Vietnam National University Information Technology Park and Saigon Hi-Tech Park Incubation Center jointly organize the program to accelerate the pilot start-up in Ho Chi Minh City.
The topic of the program will focus on creating social impact by addressing the UN's sustainable development goals (UN SDGs). The program seeks to build an innovative ecosystem around the SDGs and is committed to contributing resources, such as physical, human and advisory resources.
The goal of the program is to help 10 - 30 new startups scale up, attract investment and create higher portfolio valuation and return on investment; develop innovation capabilities and capacities; Perform acceleration programs regularly.
The output of the pilot program is to achieve a success rate, with at least 40% of startups funded in the second half of 2021.
The goal of the overall ecosystem is to achieve more than 150 startups within 3 years.
SIHUB and Sinhan Future’s Lab have collaborated on Runway to the World - bringing Vietnamese startups to South Korea and Korean startups to Vietnam to promote trade from 2018 to the present. In 2020, the two sides continue to implement this project, and at the same time cooperate in start-up training program. |
