In 2020, the NOIP has recorded 17 new organizations, deleted the name of one industrial property representation service organization, recorded amendments and supplements to information (name, address, branch and Members of the Representative List of the Organization) for 47 organizations; 37 new certificates, re-grant 11 industrial property representation service practice certificates, delete the name of one individual granted the certificate (due to his death).

By the end of 2020, the whole country has 219 industrial property representation organizations and 367 individuals that have been granted industrial property representation service practice certificates. There are 162 organizations with headquarters in Hanoi, and 56 organizations with headquarters in Ho Chi Minh City, 01 organization located in  Can Tho City. Organizations based in Hanoi have transaction offices in Ho Chi Minh City and vice versa.

Continuing the mission of 2019, aiming to develop the number of industrial property representatives to better meet the needs of organizations and individuals, the NOIP has completed the assessment of the career test of industrial property representation in 2019, notify candidates, and receive and conduct grading tests that require re-examination.

In order to serve the management of industrial property representation activities, the NOIP will make periodic statistics (every 3 months) the number of industrial property registration applications submitted through groups of industrial property representation services. By 2020, the number of industrial property registration applications filed through industrial property representation organizations will continue to account for a relatively high proportion of the total number of industrial property rights established applications (56, 22%); The corresponding rates for applications for invention patents, utility solution patents, industrial design patents and trademark registration certificates are 91.14% and 38% respectively, 69.78% and 50.83%.
