Free training in startup for female entrepreneurs

At the kick-off ceremony held on March 25 in Ho Chi Minh City, Mr. Jesse Choi, Director of Sunwah Vietnam and CEO Sunwah Innovations, said that in recent years, Vietnam has witnessed a marked increase in quantity startups, and become a vibrant startup market, directly competing with some countries in the region such as Indonesia, Singapore and etc. However, the majority of founders and startups are still largely male, with female founders making up only a small portion of the ecosystem. For that reason, Mrs. Quynh Vo, Director of Zone Startups Vietnam, said that more efforts should be made to create favorable conditions for female entrepreneurs to start a business, and this year's Program is the premise for Zone Startups Vietnam and its partners continue to build a startup accelerator program for female entrepreneurs in the coming years.
The Center has organized a number of international workshops on innovation mechanisms for successful startups; implementing the Technology Female Entrepreneur Acceleration Program. Next time, the Center will continue to organize training courses, workshop, and the Center will introduce and connect Vietnamese startups with foreign delegation and supporting start-up competitions at Polytechnic Universities, National University Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City National University, and etc. |
