Attending the event, there was the presence of professor. Dr. Ha Thanh Toan - Rector of Can Tho University, Prof. Dr. Ta Ngoc Don -Director of Department of Science, Technology and Environment and leadership representatives of departments, institutes from many provinces / cities.

The objective of the workshop is to promote research, application and development of advanced technologies in the preservation and processing of agricultural and aquatic products in the Mekong Delta.

The workshop has 2 main sessions, which are  presentations and thematic scientific reports.

The presentations at the workshop focused on analyzing the current status of technology and equipment in agro-fishery processing in the Mekong Delta, the applications of advanced drying technology in the processing and preservation of agricultural products. Thematic reports focused on the topic of citrus and fisheries.

The workshop is a program within the framework of activities to celebrate the 55th anniversary of Can Tho University's construction and development.
