At the ceremony, out of a total of 116 enterprises winning awards in 2019 and 2020, 40 enterprises were awarded the National Quality Gold Award. Accordingly, Sao Thai Duong, ACECOOK Vietnam, Nam Ha Pharmaceutical, TH Milk, Tien Phong Plastic Teenager, Khanh Hoa's Nest, Hoa Sen, Son Ha are some of the typical enterprises that have been awarded the award.

In particular, there are 4 Vietnamese enterprises nominated to participate in the Asia-Pacific International Quality Award (GPEA) that won the award, they are: Viglacera Corporation JSC (Hanoi); KIZUNA JV Joint Stock Company (Long An Province); Tan A Production and Trade Limited Company (Hanoi); Center for manufacturing electronic measuring equipment - Central electricity - branch of Central Power Corporation (Da Nang).

With the application of science - technology and advanced management tools, these four companies are at the forefront of their fields of activity. In which, Viglacera company is a pioneer in research and application of green materials; Tan A company is one of the leading groups in the market in manufacturing metal goods, household appliances, water equipment in Vietnam; Center for manufacturing electronic measuring equipment - Central electricity - branch of Central Power Corporation is a pioneer in the field of manufacturing and applying information technology, electronics and telecommunications to serve the  electricity management and business; and KIZUNA JV - a company specializing in leasing ready-built factories and related business operation support services in Long An and Ho Chi Minh City - helps investors to soon put their production and business projects into operation and sustainable development.

Assessing the quality of the award, Minister of Science and Technology Huynh Thanh Dat said that this is a very strict award system from the input criteria, must go through many rounds of review, incorporating the self-scoring system, assessment experts, field inspectors and coordinator with the People's Committees of provinces / cities and localities, so “it can be said that the selection results are very objective and transparent, the awarded enterprises are all  typical enterprises, demonstrating the spirit of innovation in our products and services.”

In fact, in many successful countries, he said, quality is a fundamental factor for business development, so we need to realize that productivity - quality must be an important driving force in socio-economic development, "if applied and brought effectively, quality will be a solid pad for Vietnamese enterprises to rise strongly in the context of globalization with many opportunities and challenges."
