Digital transformation: Need to concretize policies into practice
Vietnam has many policies to promote development of digital transformation, but still lacks specific programs and actions to create specific examples. That is shared by Dr. Le Dang Doanh – Former Director of the Central Institute for Economic Management with a reporter from Industry and Trade Newspaper recently.

Digital transformation is being evaluated as a global trend, an irreversible process in many countries around the world, including Vietnam, “Especially in the context of the ongoing Covid-19 epidemic complex, people are looking to reduce direct contact in transactions, the digital transformation becomes even more important” – Dr. Le Dang Doanh emphasized.
In Vietnam, over the past time, the Government and ministries and branches have launched many policies to promote the development of digital transformation. The most typical example is the Prime Minister's Decision No. 749/QD-TTg approving the "National digital transformation program to 2025, orientation to 2030."
For each enterprise, in order for the digital transformation to succeed, it must innovate its business model, establish a digital technology-based governance model, and work towards creative development goals. Along with that, they are willing to give up traditional business models to establish new business models and reinvent supply chains in the context of the changing economy. |
