In the first 9 months of 2022, Hung Yen Province's Department of Standards, Metrology and Quality established a survey team on the quality of products and goods circulating in the market at 18 petrol and oil trading establishments; 02 electrical and electronic stores achieved good results and ensured the schedule according to the plan. In addition, the Department also conducted a survey at 28 units in the province that used car scales (13 units of fresh concrete production and business, 15 units used car scales for services).

Implementing the Decision No. 228/QD-SKHCN dated December 31, 2021 of the Director of the Department of Science and Technology approving the plan for state inspection of quality measurement standards in 2022, the department has organized 06 inpestions on quality measurement standards in production, business, and goods circulated in the market at 88 establishments. As a result, the establishments all well implemented the legal regulations on standards, measurement, quality and labeling of goods. The inspection team took 10 samples of water meters at 01 clean water business, 05 samples of mechanical single-phase electric meters at 01 electricity retail business to check the measurement technical requirements (error) at the Hung Yen Standards, Metrology and Quality Center.

As a result, 10/10 water meters met the technical requirements for measurement DLVN 17:2017 Water meter - Testing process; 05 samples of electric meters meet the requirements as prescribed in DLVN 07:2019 - Induction AC electric meter - Inspection process and handed over to the unit as prescribed.
