On October 12, Department of Science and Technology of Ho Chi Minh City held a workshop "Promoting the development of science and technology enterprises in the innovation startup community."

Speaking at the workshop, Mrs. Chu Van Hai, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Ho Chi Minh City, said that in recent years, science and technology enterprises have been the recipients of new technology transfer, continuing receive research results from research institutes and universities.

At the same time, science and technology businesses are the destination of innovative start-ups to put their wisdom and ideas into products that bring benefit society.

Enterprises have boldly invested in scientific and technological research when accessing preferential and supportive policies of the State, thereby contributing to raising the rate of society's investment in science and technology.

According to statistics, up to now, in Ho Chi Minh City, more than 110 science and technology enterprises have been granted certificates. In addition, the number of businesses eligible for certification is more than 700 businesses. This shows that the potential for developing a network of science and technology enterprises in the city is still very large.
