The Ministry of Science and Technology and the People's Committee of Can Tho City have coordinated to organize the National specialized science and technology inspection conference of inspectors. Attending conference, there were comrades: Huynh Thanh Dat, Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Science and Technology; Nguyen Van Hieu, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Can Tho City Party Committee.

At the conference, Minister of Science and Technology Huynh Thanh Dat said that the administrative inspection and implementation of the law provisions on anti-corruption, thrift practice and anti-waste help the units to be inspected to overcome shortcomings and limitations, contribute to stabilizing the internal situation, and at the same time propose to leaders at all levels appropriate handling measures to promptly overcome shortcomings in the management mechanism related policies and laws.

Minister Huynh Thanh Dat suggested that delegates focus on discussing issues facing the inspectorate of the science and technology sector when implementing new provisions of the law, such as maintaining the inspection organization of the Department of Science and Technology; supplementing human resources and facilities for inspection agencies; strengthen inspection and inspection activities with focus; coordination mechanism between science and technology inspection agencies in performing their assigned functions and tasks.
