Attending the workshop, there were the Danish Ambassador to Vietnam; representatives of the Legal Department, Department of Seas and Islands, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment; representatives of the provincial People's Committee, leaders of provincial departments, representatives of the People's Committees of coastal districts, towns and cities, representatives of associations; experts and scientists inside and outside the province; equipment suppliers and media agencies; Mr. Luong Thanh Son - President of Union of Science and Technology Associations, Mr. Do Van Thai - Deputy Director of Provincial Department of Natural Resources and Environment and representatives of CIP group co-chaired the workshop.

Attending the workshop, there were 10 presentations, 06 presentations were introduced, discussions analyzed and clarified the potential of marine resources, priority orientations for marine economic development of the province; introduce the offshore wind power industry, the socio-economic benefits of offshore wind power; orientation of marine spatial planning and coastal areas to serve the development of marine economy of the province; development prospects of the province's offshore wind power industry; develop offshore wind power in parallel with other marine economic and resource exploitation activities; ability to provide services for offshore wind power equipment.

In addition to the introduced presentations, the workshop further clarified the comparative advantages of the province's offshore waters in investing in wind power, problems and obstacles; assess conflicts in marine resource use between sectors (maritime, fisheries, oil and gas activities, marine tourism, other ecosystems); orientation for harmonious settlement of conflicts; management and protection of marine environment, ocean plastic wastes. Besides, the workshop also raised some solutions for sustainable development of the marine economy of the province.
