On September 7, 2023, the Department of Science and Technology established a Council to directly assign organizations and individuals to assume S&T tasks: "Research and application of electronic sensor technology to manage the network of water supply pipeline and water quality monitoring at Tra Noc - O Mon Water Supply Joint Stock Company." The study is carried out by Engineer Nguyen Huu Loc. Tra Noc - O Mon Water Supply Joint Stock Company is the implementing unit.

The goal of the Project is to successfully design and build a water supply network management and monitoring system and water quality indicators at water supply stations under Tra Noc - O Mon Water Supply Joint Stock Company and help Improve professional capacity of employees and master advanced technology in the Company's production activities.
The implementation content of the project includes: building a system to monitor flow parameters, water pressure on the network of water supply pipelines of the plant; building a monitoring system for water supply parameters at water supply stations of the plant; building SCADA software system to monitor and control the system; organize training sessions and experience sharing seminars.
It is expected that when the project is completed, it will help monitor data and warn measurement points 24/24 on the pipeline system to: promptly and quickly adjust the flow and water pressure at each time of day, reduce electricity consumption at water supply pumping stations; promptly detect problems on the pipeline (leakage, pipe tank), reduce the loss rate; Distribution of losses by area with devices to monitor flow and pressure in each area to know which areas have problems.
The Council highly appreciated the practical significance that the project brings. The project was approved by the Council for research team to implement. |
