Organic agricultural products are grown, handled and processed in a safe way. For agricultural products, it is a product grown without the use of most common pesticides, artificial fertilizers, sewage sludge, radiation and genetically modified organisms.
One of the organic agricultural products that has been chosen by localities and businesses is growing organic mushrooms. However, producing organic mushrooms is not simple, requiring high technical processes, applying advanced technology and it is important to meet National Standard TCVN 11041-11:2023 on Organic Agriculture - Organic Mushrooms.
National standard TCVN 11041-11:2023 stipulates requirements for wild collection and organic mushroom growing from harvesting, pre-processing, processing, and preservation of organic mushrooms. This standard is applied concurrently with TCVN 11041:1 and TCVN 11041-2. This standard does not apply to yeasts and molds.
National standard TCVN 11041-11:2023 also stipulates that all activities of growing, collecting/harvesting, pre-processing, processing, and preserving organic mushrooms must comply with the principles for organic farming according to Article 4. of TCVN 11041-2. |
