In today's Conference, we listened to presentations about some results and proposals for digital economic development. The digital economy has been playing an increasingly important role, becoming the main driving force to promote rapid, sustainable, and resilient economic development, especially during and after the Covid-19 epidemic.

Digital economic development includes the development of the ICT industry and the development of the digital economy of all sectors and fields. However, digital economy sectors and fields will be the main ones. Vietnam needs to promote digital transformation to create a digital economy in each industry and field, bringing data and digital technology naturally and by default into each activity of the economy.

Digital transformation and digital economic development is a long journey and is more about application than research. In application, ethnic characteristics, culture, country context, and the characteristics of each industry and field are the deciding factors. And this is an opportunity for Vietnamese digital technology businesses, because they understand the Vietnamese context. The Vietnamese problem creates Vietnamese solutions and products, creating an approach to Vietnam. Vietnam must go the Vietnam way. And because we follow the Vietnamese path, we have the opportunity to take the lead. If you follow someone else's path, we will always be a follower. A theory of digital transformation and development of Vietnam's digital economy is of decisive significance. The Ministry of Information and Communications aims to build this theory, and etc.
