Proposed science and technology tasks under the Can Tho City Intellectual Property Development Program until 2030
In the morning of July 11, 2024, Can Tho City Department of Science and Technology met with an advisory council to determine scientific and technological tasks under the Can Tho City Intellectual Property Development Program until 2030. The council was presided by Dr. Ngo Anh Tin - Director of Can Tho City Department of Science and Technology.


Overview of the meeting

After exchange and discussion, the council agreed to propose science and technology tasks: Registering for protection, managing and developing Phong Dien tourism product certification trademarks; Cu Lao Tan Loc tourism product in Can Tho city, proposed by Can Tho City Farmers' Association.



Council's members

The proposal aims to register for protection, manage and develop Phong Dien tourism product certification trademarks, to protect the reputation and prestige of Phong Dien tourism products, and at the same time provide clear identification for this product on the market. By protecting and managing certification trademarks, consumers can easily recognize and trust the quality and origin of Phong Dien tourism products, helping to enhance the value and competitiveness of the products in the market.


Delegates

Proposed science and technology tasks are objectively evaluated by the Council according to specific criteria including: Urgency of implementing the project; Interdisciplinary, inter-regional nature and importance of scientific issues raised in the ordering proposal; Ability to not overlap with past and ongoing S&T tasks; Practical significance of proposed science and technology tasks for local socio-economic development.
