Digital technology industry development
In the draft Law on Digital Technology Industry, the Ministry of Information and Communications proposed many policies to develop the digital technology industry.


The draft Law clearly states that the State implemented the following policies to ensure the development of the digital technology industry: Incentives on land, tax, finance, investment and other preferential mechanisms to develop the digital technology industry to promote its fundamental role in the development of other industries, serving socio-economic development. In particular, focusing on and having special preferential policies to attract investment in developing new digital technologies, such as artificial intelligence, big data, cloud computing, internet of things, blockchain, virtual reality/augmented reality and other new digital technologies.

Encourage the development of digital technology industry in a sustainable direction according to the circular economic model, reduce energy consumption, reduce emissions, minimize negative impacts on the environment, produce environmentally friendly digital technology products and services, in harmony with the standards of countries with advanced and developed industries in the world.

Mobilize investment resources for research, design and technology mastery in the digital technology industry; enhance the competitiveness of digital technology enterprises, participate in high value-added stages in the global value chain. Focus resources on developing a number of key and essential digital technology products.
