In order to advise on the direct assignment of organizations and individuals to preside over the scientific and technological task of "Research on the application of high-frequency vacuum wood drying technology in wood production and processing", Can Tho City Department of Science and Technology held a council meeting in the morning of July 25, 2024. The council was presided by Dr. Ngo Anh Tin - Director of Can Tho City Department of Science and Technology. The study will be carried out by Mr. Le Chi Thien. Overview of the meeting
Project objective: Applying high-frequency vacuum wood drying technology to the wood drying stage in the wood production and processing line to improve quality, diversify and create uniformity of products, meeting the needs of domestic and foreign markets; Saving energy, labor and ensuring safety during exploitation and operation.
Research content of the project: Studying high-frequency vacuum wood drying technology and equipment; Installing and testing high-frequency vacuum wood drying equipment; Training and coaching workers.
With the results of the project, it will help businesses improve product quality, meet the requirements of domestic and foreign markets, and is expected to increase business profits by 5%-10%, train and improve the quality of local human resources, contribute to saving energy, reducing production costs, protecting the environment, improving labor safety and public health, and contributing to the sustainable economic development of Can Tho city and the Mekong Delta region.
