Speaking at the workshop, Dr. Ha Minh Hiep said that since 2021, the National Committee for Standards, Metrology and Quality identified that measurement activities need to be transformed, changed and better controlled. Therefore, the Committee has submitted to the Prime Minister a Project "Strengthening and innovating measurement activities to support Vietnamese enterprises to improve their competitiveness and international integration in the period up to 2025, with a vision to 2030" (Decision No. 996/QD-TTg dated August 10, 2018) on the program to improve measurement capacity for enterprises. The Committee submitted to the Ministry for reporting and had a measurement assurance program.

In the spirit of ensuring measurement, the Ministry of Science and Technology has signed a decision to issue a list of sectors and fields. One of the priority sectors is the clean water business sector, with the aim of serving the people and society well. How to provide enough water, provide clean water for the people and the water sector is one of the important contents in ensuring measurement for the Committee.
