The conference is within the framework of implementing the task of "Supporting market development for innovative startups; developing online platforms to link and connect components of the innovative startup ecosystem" under the Project to Support the National Innovative Startup Ecosystem to 2025 (Project 844).
At the Conference, experts shared on topics, such as Intellectual Property Identification (IPI) for innovative start-up activities; Support activities for innovative start-ups in business incubators, research institutes, and universities.
In addition to sharing experiences in creating, protecting, and commercializing intellectual property; experience in supporting start-up activities, experts from the Institute of Intellectual Property and Partners have received consulting requests and provided free direct consulting to innovative start-up businesses, science and technology enterprises, universities, research institutes, and etc. in the Southern region on issues related to intellectual property and innovative start-ups.
Through the Conference, many enterprises with intellectual property on the IPPlatform Platform, innovative startups in the South were connected with subjects of the innovative startup ecosystem, including startup support organizations and business incubators.
Also within the framework of the program, the Institute of Intellectual Property organized a course on “Training on skills in exploiting industrial property information (IP) and managing IP for innovative start-ups”. Attending the training course, there were representatives of innovative start-ups, science and technology enterprises, startup support centers of universities, research institutes, departments of science and technology, incubators, startup support organizations, investment funds, etc. in the Southern region.
The training course is organized to update and equip students with knowledge and skills related to the use of databases/tools for exploiting domestic and foreign intellectual property information; skills in exploiting intellectual property databases; skills in searching and evaluating intellectual property information to check the legal status of intellectual property, evaluate the protection ability, the ability to legally use intellectual property objects and intellectual property management skills. |
