Vietnam Association of Young Intellectuals in Science and Technology celebrated 20th anniversary of establishment

On August 11, in Hanoi, the Vietnam Association of Young Intellectuals in Science and Technology (VAYSE) held a ceremony to celebrate its 20th anniversary (August 10, 2004 - August 10, 2024). Chairman of the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (Vusta) Phan Xuan Dung attended the ceremony.

The Vietnam Association of Young Scientists and Engineers was established under Decision No. 47/2004/QD-BNV of the Ministry of Home Affairs, with the English name Vietnam Association of Young Scientists and Engineers (VAYSE).
The purpose of the Association is to gather and unite young Vietnamese intellectuals at home and abroad to exchange experiences, improve creativity, professional qualifications, and skills, encourage creativity and talent to serve the development of the technology and goods market, create practical innovation and effectively contribute to the socio-economic development of the country.
Since its establishment, the Vietnam Association of Young Intellectuals in Science and Technology has developed nearly 1,000 individual members and established 18 affiliated science and technology organizations.
Speaking at the ceremony, Vusta Chairman Phan Xuan Dung acknowledged the solidarity, efforts and achievements of the Vietnam Association of Young Scientists and Technologists over the past 20 years.
According to Chairman Phan Xuan Dung, as a "common home" for domestic and foreign scientific and technological intellectuals, so far, the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations has gathered over 2.2 million intellectuals out of 3.7 million members, accounting for 32.5% of the country's intellectuals. |
